At Island Urban Indigenous Wellness Society, we are dedicated to providing more than just a roof over your head. Our flagship housing project, Nuutsumuut Lelum ("All in One House"), offers 25 units of affordable, high-quality housing specifically designed for Indigenous youth, Elders, and families. Located on Bowen Road, our community is built on the principles of environmental sustainability and cultural connection. As a Passive House certified development, the complex ensures exceptional comfort and energy efficiency for all residents.
Our housing program is centered around a circular courtyard that encourages community gathering, supported by significant cultural landmarks like our 37-foot totem pole. We believe in fostering a supportive environment that integrates traditional values with modern living, helping our residents thrive through a strong network of community and Indigenous knowledge.

Please be advised that we currently have a waitlist for our housing units. Applications are reviewed based on eligibility, family composition, and the date of submission.
To be considered for future openings, we encourage you to download the application form below. Keeping your application up-to-date ensures that we can reach you as soon as a suitable unit becomes available.
